About the Temple

The foundation stone of Vashi Shree Venkatachalapathy Temple was laid at the august hands of H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shri Kash Math Samsthan on 6th February, 1991.

The 25th Prathista Vardanthi Mahotsav of Shree Laxmi Venkataramana Temple (Balaji Mandir) was celebrated at the august hands of H.H. Shrimad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shri Kash Math Samsthan, from the 15th June, Saturday 2019, to 17th June, Monday 2019, along with the 22nd Vardanthi Mahotsav of Parivara Devathas and 18th Vardanthi Mahotsav of Navagraha Devathas,. The Prathista Vardanthi of Naag Devatha was held on the 20th Jun 2019.


Poojas are also performed to Parivaar Devataas – Shree Mukhya Prana, Shree Ganapati, Goddess Laxmi and Shree Garuda which are installed at the four corners of the temple as well as that of Lord Subrahmanya, Naag Devatha and Navagraha on the ground floor of temple premises.

GSB, Their Origin

Goud (also spelt as Gaud or Gawd) Saraswat Brahmins are a Hindu Brahmin community in India and a part of the larger Saraswat Brahmin community. They belong to the Pancha (five) Gauda Brahmana groups.
