Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka Mahotsava of Shree Laxmivenkataramana Temple (Shree Balaji Mandir), Vashi, Navi Mumbai will be held on Magha Bahula (Krishna Paksha) Panchami of Hevilambi Samvatsara, Monday, the 5th February 2018 as per Padma Samhitamtargata Vidhana by the Lotus hands of His Holiness Shrimad Samyameendra Thirtha Swamiji ( Mathadhipati of Shree Kash Mutt Samsthan, Varanasi)

Shree Laxmivenkataramana Temple will be celebrating Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka as per Padma Samhitantargata Vidhana on 05th February, 2018.

It is believed that Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka will reinforce sanctity of the Temple, As the very word suggests the “Sahasra Kumbha” denotes one thousand kalashas but in reality it will have 1001, the last being called the Prime Kalasha or Brahma Kalasha. When 1000 Kalashas are of the same size the prime one will be almost ten times bigger than the standard size. The kalasha could be made up of clay, copper, silver or gold but they will have to have in them holy water ceremonially collected from the sacred rivers of India. These 1000 kalashas thereafter will be neatly kept in well-defined circles one after the other and the innermost will have in its centre the Prime Kalasha fully adorned with flowers and gold ornaments besides the coconut and a small piece of red cloth on its top. Before arranging the kalashas, the chakras are colorfully drawn with powders of various hues and colors. The kalasha represents the universe and the most fascinating aspect of Hindu worship is treating the human being as an inseparable part and parcel of that universe. The worship proceeds from this noble thought firm in mind.

Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka as per Padma Samhitantargata Vidhana is a very powerful ritual which fulfills a devotee’s desires, removes all obstacles and makes one’s mission successful. This brings health, wealth, peace and prosperity. In Vedas, Lord Vishnu tells Brahma that propitiation in the form of ablution with 1008 kalashas, filles with holy water and other sacred materials, pleases Him (Vishnu) exceedingly. Whoever witnesses Lord Vishnu during this ablution with faith and devotion, obtains the fruits of bathing in the sacred rivers.

We invite you and all the members of your family to attend the divine function of Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka as per Padma Samhitantargata Vidhana of Lord Shree Laxmivenkataramana and Partake the Shree Mudi Gandha prasadam of the Lord and be blessed by Shri Hari Guru.
